We are currently looking for CERTIFIED fit pros with an outgoing, fun, energetic, motivating, entertaining, and engaging personality to teach group fitness classes and/or conduct Personal Training Sessions at our club. We have need for formats such as Total Body Strength Training, Resistance training, Cross training, Circuit training, Cardio Kickboxing, Zumba, Bootcamp, Cycle, Strong by Zumba, HIIT, WERQ, Pilates, Barre and more (it is not necessary to teach ALL of them!) *We are open to any OTHER exciting and challenging formats as well!
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
3 months *MINIMUM *of fitness instructor work experience.
*Must have current *nationally recognized Group Exercise and/or Personal Training Certification (or an outlined plan to achieve it within 6-8 months of hire). If you have a degree in exercise science (or related field) combined with field experience, group-x cert is not required.
*Must have current *CPR/AED certification or be able to get one promptly.
*Have the ability to*:
* design an hour long group-x classes that include appropriate warm-up and cool-down segments and keep material and music fresh and engaging
* cue both verbally and non-verbally if/when appropriate
* provide modifications for all fitness levels
* engage and motivate participants
* showcase leadership skills
